Is he installing via Impulse or from the DVD?

Try clicking Cancel and trying again.  It's trying to hit the server to bring up the EULA HTML.

He eventually got the EULA to load, but now the archive he downloaded (while trying to get the EULA to work) somehow went bad and he has to download it again... Hoo boy..

Why is he restoring from an Archive? Why not just install via Impulse?

Well, he couldnt even get the download to start because he couldnt accept the EULA. He could, however, start a download via the "archive" option. The archive download finished, but now that he got past the EULA, for some reason his archive wont install. It's a moot point I guess, because he's almost done downloading it again.

hi its me.. the friend with all the installation problems. I was attempting to install via Impulse.. however when I went to click Install.. it attempted to pull up the EULA for me to accept before starting the install process.. but got stuck.. after a while messing with that without luck.. I tried the 'download and archive' option thinking maybe that might help me out. The archive finished downloading... but then decided it couldn't restore the archive or some such.

Anyways.. after exiting and reloading the client a couple of times it decided to load the EULA on its own finally.. allowing me to download and install the game.. which it is just finishing up now. *keeps fingers crossed* 

Stop all firewall and antivirus. Close Impulse.

Pray.

Pray again.

Open Impulse, pray again.

Get the game.

IF something goes wrong, close everthing, pray, open impulse and try again.
